There are ways to be included as an Alpha tester. Having a small number of people access limits the leak of information that can occur, and when it does, the perpetrators do get punished, anywhere between loss of privileges, full account ban or even a legal proceedings. Some things just arent ready to be released to the general public for whatever reason or is still being developed. Its because a lot of the features in the Dev server are covered under an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) pertaining to future development. Why cant we (normal players) test as well? Those who have general access to it are the Developers, Modelers, Research Pilot, Alpha Testers, Bug Reporters and some of the Forum Staff. It actually is open, but not accessible by the average player. If it does: Change it from DEV to Production. Make sure that the version indicated does not say (dev server) Paste the contents into your WT Directory
So right-click the Dev Server launcher and open the file location If you saved into the WT directory, then open the Launcher Advance settings,Ĭhange it from DEV to Production.
OR Download the Dev server and switch that to your Production server, and the Production server to the Dev server at a later date. With the launcher, either install it into a new folder or into your WT directory Download installation program for DEV Server HERE
